Where are my recordings?

On your device, in the library. With iCloud signed in, they sync between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your own account.

Virgil can't hear me

Recording needs microphone permission: Settings, Apps, Virgil, Microphone. In-person conversations sound best on the phone's own mic, and Virgil offers you that choice when AirPods are connected.

How do calls work?

Send a friend your invite link from the Calls menu. When they tap it, you are saved in each other's Virgil, and calling is one press from then on. End to end encrypted, no phone numbers involved.

Something crashed or misbehaves

Settings, Diagnostics, then Share diagnostics attaches a technical log that contains no recordings. Send it with your email and we will dig in.

How do I delete my data?

Settings, Your data, then Delete everything. It removes recordings, transcripts, and memory from the device. There is no server copy to chase.
